A game of ups & downs

Golf is such a fantastic sport it’s hard to say which aspect of the game stands out as the best.
Ask your golfing buddies the next time you see them and you’re guaranteed to get a whole diverse range of answers.
Lots of golfers feel a huge sense of satisfaction when jotting down a low number on the scorecard while others prefer just to head out and play. Some love smashing a drive down the middle whereas others enjoy pulling off the miraculous Seve escape.
Today we want to put you in mind of some of the best feelings that come to us on the golf course, as well as give you an excellent suggestion of how to experience these sensations more often.
Moments that stay with us

We all have that one tee shot on the course that sticks in our heads more than others. Maybe the distance to where you’d like to land your ball is just between clubs or you’re prone to finding the same hazard. However, when you shape your tee shot just as you wanted and it comes to rest where you’d like, it feels like the stars have aligned just for your tee shot.
The same great sensation is awaiting us when our approach shot is in a great location. We can sense an excellent opportunity to land it close to the flag, and when you strike through the ball and watch your shot come down just where you were hoping it would, it feels electric.
Naturally most fist-pump moments in golf are reserved for the greens, it is where the game is won or lost after all. Your playing partner might have secured par with a sensible 2-putt, but you’ve got just the right line to sink a 10-footer for birdie. Your eyes lock on the ball the entire way you send it to the back of the cup. Is there anything better than an honest winning feeling?
All these moments are phenomenal and pleasant memories to look back on, and here’s how the latest Titleist golf balls have been crafted to help you live them time and again.
The NEW Titleist golf balls
We’ve got a fantastic video for you today that will help you determine which of the balls in the Pro V1 range would be best for you. Do you prioritise a soft feel and go with the Pro V1? Or are you looking for more spin and be better suited to the Pro V1x?

The Pro V1’s reputation truly proceeds itself. Easily one of the most popular golf balls on the planet, this ball is favoured by the very best players in the world. Whether you’re craving excellent distance and shot control off the tee or excellent feel around the greens, the Pro V1 will give you a pleasant experience. With a soft-feeling urethane cover, the Pro V1 will have you going for the hole with confidence on every chip.
The Pro V1x has some slight differences to the Pro V1, the main one being this ball gives you higher flight and more spin than the standard model. With slightly larger dimples, the 438 tetrahedral design makes this golf ball fly consistently higher, giving you more of a say so in how you want it to land and spin. It’s favoured by the best in the world, and if you’ve yet to add it to your bag, we don’t doubt you’ll love it.

The brand new Pro V1x Left Dash ball is similar to the standard Pro V1x in the sense that it gives the player high ball flight but with dramatically lower full swing spin. So you’ll be producing shots with both excellent distance and workability. With a 348 dimple design, this ball has larger dimples compared to its twin and offers a more penetrating launch off the tee. Essentially this ball feels similar to the Pro V1 but with a higher ball flight.
If you’re unsure which golf ball would best suit your game, we’re more than willing to consult you in the pro shop to get you fully geared up and ready for action.
