Captain Pro Challenge

This weekend's match was against Golf Club Manager John Prior and Golf events sales Liam Humphries. Myself and Captain Martin Hallam started very strong establishing a three up lead on the eighth hole. We then found ourselves one down on the 13th tee after a great run of holes from both John and Liam dovetailing well. I decided we needed to make something change and manage to birdie 13th which was the turning point in the match. The Match was finally decided on the 17th hole myself and Martin won the Match two and one, our first victory as a pairing well done Martin.

Last chance, please contact the club if you would like to play. I will be doing the draw on Saturday, 29 April in the clubhouse at 9.30am. For those or you that do not know, the draw will be displayed on the noticeboard near to the Bar.

Notice - General Play For Members

With immediate effect, we would politely ask members to use the white, general play tees for none-competition play.

Blue tees are to be used for club competitions, club matches and by playing partners accompanied by a Category one golfer (Handicap of four or less) only. Not for general play.

Our starter/marshals have been asked to monitor the pace of the course at weekends. We would ask that all members support 'play ready golf' and adhere to playing from the correct tees and therefore in line with the pace of the rest of the golf course.
